I have since found a solution to this problem and until Sony offer a different solution this is the only way I have found to solve this.
1. You are going to need to download the drivers. I download the Windows 7 driver from here and then unzipped it with 7-Zip.
2. Open the Device Manager and locate the device you want to force to update. Mine was listed as "unknown device".
3. Right Click on the device And select "Update Driver Software"
4. Choose "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer" then click the “Have Disk” Button and browse to the folder where you saved your driver for me it was Desktop\55715_Chipset_Intel_Win7_64_Z9301020\WIN7. When you open the driver folder, the list will be populated with a list of the drivers it has found .
5. Pick the proper device and click Next. The driver will load.
6. You may have to restart for the changes to take effect depending on the driver.
Hopefully this might help someone else.
